Sedona, Arizona is known as a geological wonderland with an abundance of outdoor recreation and acres of national forest land to explore. Sedona also has a worldwide reputation as a spiritual mecca, a global power spot for personal enrichment of the body and the soul. Beyond the hiking trails and crystal sound bowls is a world less well-known: a buzzy wine scene, on the rise.
Sedona’s Verde Valley is a lush valley nourished by the Verde River, Arizona’s only wild and scenic river that is surrounded by green mountains and red rocks… as well as award-winning wines in high country vineyards. The area’s ample sunshine and dramatic nighttime cool-downs, combined with rich volcanic soil and a good water source create an ideal environment for hearty varietals.
